September 2009
I am lucky enough to have my work being shown in two different places during September 2009. My friend Kay Quotroche and I will be doing a show called "Two Souls Inspired" from September 20th until October 25th at All Souls Unitarian Church at 5805 East 56th St. in Indianapolis. Receptions will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20th and Sunday, September 27th, so please stop by for a snack and to say "Hello!"
I will once again have paintings hanging at the Eagle Creek Coffee House in Zionsville Indiana for the month of September. (There four new paintings and a couple of reruns that fit in with the theme, so I thought it would be appropriate to show them again!) This is one of the new ones, called "Welcome".

July 2009
My Watercolor class at Herron presented a show called "Indy H20". All the works were created plein aire in various locations around the city. This is a piece I did called "Farmer's Market".

March, 2009

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our reception on the 6th! It was a lot of fun and we all appreciate your support. If you weren't able to be there, I hope you'll be able to drop in and see our work. I am proud to be showing with such talented people.

St. Luke's UMC Holiday Bizarre - November 8
9:00 - 3:00 pm
100 W. 86th St. Indianapolis, IN 46260

Thanks to all of you shoppers who came out and supported St. Luke's Children's Ministries by purchasing your cards from us! I had a great time seeing so many of my favorite St. Luke's people and I spent so much time talking that I probably should have been "marketing" the cards more! The bizarre was a great event as usual, and I certainly appreciate everyone who helped to make it so successful.
Bountiful Bowls: Imagine a World Without Hunger
Thursday, November 6, 6:00 p.m. at the Eiteljorg Museum
This was a great event! All proceeds from the evening will help Gleaner's Food Bank. Below you can see pictures of the collage and the "bowl book" that I created for Bountiful Bowls.

This collage is titled "The Broken Bowl" and features linocut prints, sections of a lithograph, photograph, watercolors and pen drawings that I did of a bowl that has been in my family for a very long time. There are also shards of broken china from a special dish that I broke but couldn't bare to throw away!
The bowl itself is made from papiermache and each page is an original watercolor. The pages are connected with ribbons and plastic spoons .
